However, we'll pick up right where we left off: not wanting our sticker from that previous post to be lonely. Therefore, here are some fellow stickers:
These stickers are dated 1979 and are made by Aviva. I was able to find almost no information on this company. All I have been able to find out is that it was a toy company that produced many plastic toys (especially Peanuts and Garfield) from the 1960s to early 1980s. I can't find out what happened to it.
Let's have a closer look at these stickers:
Well, the backs are a little plain. |
Let's be honest: If you didn't know it was Star Trek, you wouldn't know this was McCoy. |
This Spock is OK. |
Again, if you didn't know it was Star Trek, you'd think this was a Twilight vampire with extra-bad makeup. |
This Spock may be the best of any of these stickers. |
This Kirk is much better than the other one. |
I thought the Vulcan salute sticker was creative. |

- The only concrete information I could find on Aviva was in this Google Books excerpt, discussing their association with Kat's Meow in making scratch & sniff stickers in the early 1980s. This is from the Vintage Scratch & Sniff Stickers Collector's Guide, and if you've just got to add that book to your library, you can get it on amazon.com.
